Yoga as a therapeutic practice

Yoga is fast becoming recognised in the West as a valuable tool for calming the mind, connecting people with their bodies, inducing relaxation and improving health and wellbeing (physical and mental).

We have seen great success through incorporating yoga into our treatment programmes with eating disorder sufferers, both overweight and underweight.

“Any sort of depression or emotional problem prevents us from being honest with ourselves. When you do yoga there is an honesty you have to confront from which you can get tremendous strength.”

- Chloe Fremantle, yoga instructor
