Adventures in Eating

This workshop offers young people the opportunity to develop cooking skills using fresh and natural ingredients. Every aspect of choosing, preparing and eating food is covered, from designing a supermarket, to choosing fresh, natural ingredients and cooking a delicious soup. Children develop self confidence and cooking skills as they are guided through the experience of eating slowly, sociably and sitting down.

“I’ve really enjoyed this course. It was really helpful and taught us a lot. I hope lots of other schools get to do all the exciting things we were lucky enough to do.” Rohinee, aged 10

“The programme has been a terrific success. It impressed the Ofsted inspectors and helped us to deliver the ‘every child matters’ agenda. The children acquired skills and changed their attitudes about healthy eating.” Year Leader
